For the second consecutive year, Alumni and current students from the Aristides Atelier exhibited at the prestigious Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale WA. The exhibition, titled Works On Paper: Drawing Reality, was presented in collaboration with the Aristides Atelier at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. It examined the importance of developing drawing skills, as well as understanding drawing as a finished art form. With over 7,400 visitors viewing the show, I couldn’t be more proud of my students for this achievement.

There are early discussions on an invitation to show again next year at the Maryhill, making it a third consecutive show. If you were considering applying for the Aristides Atelier in the Fall, there’s still time to join, I’d love to consider your work for next year’s exhibition.

The below video is a glimpse of the first exhibition in 2018 with some wonderful highlights about the atelier itself. Congratulations again to all of the artists!
